Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
Proven experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance roles in financial services.
Strong knowledge of technology governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, CMMI, PDPA, PCI-DSS, FFIEC, Basel III.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for developing effective controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences in financial services.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ethical and professional conduct, with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
Familiarity with audit and compliance processes, including internal and external audits.
Proficiency in technology governance tools, risk assessment methodologies, and data analysis techniques.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement technology standards and ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with the risk management team for technology assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
Implement controls and measures to mitigate technology-related risks and ensure data and system integrity.
Monitor technology performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs for compliance with industry-specific requirements.
Provide guidance and support to technology teams on governance-related matters and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to align technology activities with applicable laws and standards.
Assist in the development and delivery of technology governance training programs.
Prepare reports and presentations on technology governance activities, findings, and recommendations.
About Team & Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technology Governance Specialist to join our Technology Group. In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, technology leaders, and stakeholders to ensure technology implementation align with company standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in technology governance, regulatory compliance, and familiarity with standards specific to the financial services sector.
