Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, project management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project management, portfolio management, or related analytical roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software/tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) is a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications is desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
Support the management of the organization's project portfolio, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
Assist in developing and maintaining portfolio management processes, tools, and standards to ensure consistency, transparency, and efficiency.
Analyze project data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with visibility into portfolio performance, progress, and outcomes.
Conduct portfolio reviews and analysis to assess project health, risk exposure, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with project managers, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment of portfolio management activities with organizational goals.
Assist in developing and implementing portfolio optimization strategies to maximize value delivery, resource utilization, and risk mitigation.
Provide support for special projects and initiatives related to portfolio management, process improvement, and organizational change management.
About Team & Role
Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is a centralized function, responsible for managing the portfolio of projects and programs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and optimal resource allocation. PMO serves as a focal point for project management governance, standards, and best practices, providing support, guidance, and oversight to project managers and project teams.
