Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT related
(Senior Level) Minimum 6 years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, or other related fields
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
Excellent communications skills with and about data
Strong knowledge of and expertise in SQL
Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques
Ability to understand complex data and merge data from multiple sources
Experience with Azure data platform architecture is preferrable
Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., creating formulas, pivot tables)
Responsibilities
(Senior Level) Lead a team in developing reports, dashboards, analysis, and some automation methods such as SQL, Python, Excel, in-house tools, etc.
(Senior Level) Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the business, to provide timely and successful issue resolution
(Senior Level) Recommend solutions to reduce or eliminate issues and increase profitability
Participates in the workstream planning process including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of BI solutions
Works with internal and external customers and technical partners to develop and analyze BI needs
Interprets business requirements and determines optimum BI solutions to meet business needs
Manage, design, develop and maintain BAU dashboards and ad-hoc data requirements
Recommend different possibilities to constantly improve data usability, reliability, and quality
Work collaboratively with members of the team (e.g., data functional analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and the IT team) to achieve the project’s goals
Interface with business users and engineering teams to bridge the gap in terms of data needs and business term/logic understanding
Troubleshoots data issues within the business and across the business and presents solutions
About Team & Role
You will be a part of DATAx - Business Intelligence team which is under the Analytics office that is responsible for mining out the best and most efficient insight from both internal and external data and driving critical business decisions and/or new business opportunities. Our team provides the result in multiple solutions such as visualization dashboards and OLAP datasets. We work closely end-to-end with business functions and across functional in DATA X, such as DS/ML, PMO, Technology (DE, Infra & Operations, IT team), to innovate, drive and deliver the DATAx's products.
