Qualifications
Proven expertise in AI governance, data strategy, analytics, or AI risk management, with a strong track record in monitoring and analyzing AI/ML trends.
Overall 7+ years of experience with hands-on experience in risk assessment, regulatory analysis, model governance or a related field.
Experience in developing AI/ML driven strategies, implementing analytics frameworks and/or model governance, and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong ability to bridge business, technology, and governance functions, ensuring AI insights translate into actionable enterprise policies.
Experience in event management, risk assurance marketing, or industry engagement.
Solid technical familiarity with data infrastructure, analytics tools, and AI model development/validation.
Formal education in AI/ML, Data Science, Risk Management or other numerical disciplines is preferred but not required if equivalent practical experience is demonstrated.
Responsibilities
Monitor global AI regulations and trends, ensuring SCBX remains compliant with evolving standards (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO, OWASP etc.).
Conduct research on AI governance best practices across financial services industry, global and local regulations, and evolving trends.
Design AI risk intelligence reports, newsletters, educational content, and awareness programs to enhance AI governance awareness across SCBX.
Support risk assurance marketing efforts, ensuring subsidiaries trust SCBX Data & AI COE’s AI governance and data security practices.
Support organizing OF expert speaker sessions, AI roundtables, and industry engagements to strengthen AI governance knowledge within SCBX.
Collaborate with Data governance, Data Privacy, Risk, and Engineering teams to translate AI insights into operational policies.
Support data strategy alignment, ensuring observatory insights contribute to trustworthy data-driven decision-making and AI model governance across SCBX.
Support communication campaigns and demonstrate how the Group Data Zone (GDZ) safeguards subsidiary data, securing trust in DataX as a secure and responsible AI data processor.
About Team & Role
Staying ahead of AI risks, governance trends, and emerging technologies is critical for responsible AI adoption across SCBX. As part of the SCBX Data & AI Center of Excellence (COE), the Data & AI COE serves as a central intelligence function, tracking AI developments, gathering insights, and shaping SCBX’s AI governance strategy. This role collaborates with SCBX subsidiaries, DataX Model Risk Management, SCBX Data Governance COE, SCBX Data Privacy COE, Cyber COE, and Cloud COE ensuring AI risk intelligence is effectively integrated across the group.
The Specialist - AI Governance, Data & AI COE will be responsible for monitoring AI regulations, analyzing AI risk trends, engaging with industry experts, and operationalizing AI governance policies and standards. The role also includes developing risk assurance marketing materials to build confidence in DataX’s Group Data Zone and AI Platform, securing transparency and trust in AI-driven initiatives. Additionally, this position will lead AI education efforts, expert panels, and internal briefings to keep SCBX at the forefront of responsible AI adoption.
